As a journalist and communications professional my background includes reporting, production management and field producing on CHCH Morning Live and Global Toronto News Making a Difference with Susan Hay.

My professional Human Resources and People Development experience has been in the field of Employee Wellness for St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton and the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board.

In 2013 I wrote my M.A. thesis on Mindfulness Meditation while studying at a Zen Centre in South India. Upon completing this study I took Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction offered through St. Josephs Hospital and Mindful Communication offered through the McMaster University Faculty of Development. I then led the weekly Communities of Practice at St. Josephs Hospital  and became a founding member of Mindfulness Hamilton.
